Mohammed, Syrian Refugee

''I didn't want to make too light of Mohammed's situation. I wanted to show that he was a man of strength, power and integrity, but also lain vulnerable, bare and pretty incapacitated by his situation as a refugee. His family have left everything they have ever known to live an uncomfortable limbo. I hope that my illustration has captured some of this feeling of tension and raw humanity.''
